The Knitters Haven is a 501(c )7, Mutual Benefit Non-Profit, social club located at 78115
Calle Estado, Suite 101, La Quinta, CA 92253.
Our vision is to be a community haven of needle and fiber enthusiasts and friends. Our mission is to create a welcoming and viable haven for knitters, needle pointers and other fiber artists to share friendship with their craft and have access to education, supplies and events.
The Knitters Haven is a great place to knit, be inspired and meet friends. Beginners to advanced skill levels, all are welcome here!
Stuck on a problem? Come by for quick help or lessons are available. Go on one of our “field trips” to yarn stores outside the Coachella Valley. We also have quarterly yarn and pattern trunk shows and knitting classes!
Although we are not a retail store, we do have Marketplace Vendors who provide access to quality yarn, patterns and needles, and accessories.
We also have a collection of Knitting Bags and other hand made items made by our members.. Come by and check out their yarn and knitted garment and scarf samples. Currently we have Coachella Valley Yarns and Just Jan Designs selling as vendors. We also have patterns by James Cox Knits .
